Day 13 Tulsa rest day

Ahhhh. A day off the bike in Tulsa. What a cool town. The downtown area has several districts possessing various levels of cool, from groovy to tragically hip. We joked that cool is moving from Austin to Tulsa. From the street music we heard last night, Austin has nothing to fear in that department. Lauren decided we were headed for Philbrook Museum of Art today. First we stopped by the Wild Fork for brunch and headed for Philbrook. It is all feeling very civilized. I would highly recommend a trip to the museum. Besides the collections on display, ironically including a Native American room focusing on Northern New Mexico Pueblos, there are beautiful gardens. Even at 98 degrees and 85 percent humidity. It did give pause when thinking about a big day Monday. Atmospheric conditions are changing. We finished with dinner and got to bed on time to watch the local 10:00PM news broadcast and see a :45 story on the ride.
